Week one of rehearsals is down guys and I tell ya it hasn’t been without it’s share of challenges and WORK!
The process of 9.30 to 6pm is something I’ve been getting used to and I’m happy to say it’s only taken a day or two to get into the groove.
My body was hating me the first couple of dance, as I haven’t done a dance class in over a year, AND my vocals were feeling warm getting into the opening of the week.
The tip I’ve taken, and always do when there is a rehearsal period is to DRINK LOTS OF WATER! So much water that you need to keep heading to the loo!
Eat often and get early nights. I’ve been going through that process but since having flown around the world my immune system was obviously down ’cause I got sick. Chesty cough, runny nose tingly head kinda sick. Not GREAT for the first week, but it does pose the question…Should I dance and sing while I’m sick.
Check out this interesting blog article I found just today for ya..and let me know what YOU do…

Where You Can Take My Classes
'Bex Musical Theatre Jazz was awesome!! A great class for anyone who wants to pursue a career in dance and perform! I think it would be an awesome class for heaps of different dancers...Jazz through to Musical Theatre students. It was so fun also because you just get to dance it out, play it up & have fun with it! Thank you Bex :)
